One Southwark was created to give disadvantaged young people in Southwark the same access to opportunities as those from more privileged backgrounds. Put simply, it's here to level the playing field.
The team wanted to position the brand in a way which made it feel accessible and open. And a website that partners, potential supporters, and young people could come to to learn more about the charity and how they could get involved.
I was responsible for all positioning and web copy. Working closely the Programme Director, Will Cole, I helped define the key messaging that the website would communicate – and decide which information needed to stay and what we could leave out for more personal conversations.
To that end, I drafted eight web pages including the homepage, about us, young people & community pages, and the website resources page. The website is live and you can explore it here. The client was absolutely thrilled with the end result, and had some extremely kind words to say which you can see for yourself below.
