The Royal British Legion was approaching its 100th year of remembrance in 2019.
We were asked to write the charity's annual report on the anniversary of the D-Day landings, in what had been an incredible year for remembrance.
I was tasked with editing sections sent in to us by the various departments at The Royal British Legion - which of course, meant there were some stylistic differences!
My role was to immerse myself in the brand's tone of voice and make sure it all read as one calm, assured piece. I edited and wrote from foreword to conclusion.
We also carried out the interviews for the report with some truly inspiring individuals, and it was our responsibility to make sure we wrote their stories in a way that did them justice.
The project was an emotional one.
